Founded in 2008, the Weill Cornell Medicine (WCM) Event Services Office (ESO) facilitates centralized space reservation scheduling, event support and a wide array of technological services in support of WCM. The ESO staff is comprised of scheduling coordinators and audiovisual staff who provide service and support to exceed our clients’ requirements. We are dedicated to providing event planning expertise with advanced innovations for the WCM community.
We facilitate academic and clinical gatherings for staff and faculty members and medical students from all departments within the WCM community, frequently hosting Continuing Medical Education (CME) events, global conferences and local meetings. In the future, we plan to upgrade our calendar system, integrate seamless billing and automate many smaller audiovisual systems throughout the institution in order to further streamline the space reservation process and reduce maintenance costs.
